I hope Netflix has a Plan B

Netflix's biggest threat? No, it's not Blockbuster, OnDemand, or AppleTV. The biggest threat to Netflix is... USPS and their potential cut of mail service down to five days a week. After I got over my initial shock (because how is such a thing even possible?), I thought 'OMG! How am I going to get my Netflix on Saturdays?' And eventually, that will occur to other Netflix customers, too. After a while, even unlimited streaming of older, less-in-demand movies can't compensate. Is this a drop in perceived value? If DVDs don't arrive when we want to watch them most, will we protest for lower rates or leave all together? This is where design, strategy, and national security are the most difficult -- a failure of imagination. I hope Netflix has more imaginative minds than me, and can find a way to continue their high level of customer satisfaction.

Best of Jacksonville Party // Thursday, January 15 from 6-8:30

Best of Jacksonville Party // Thursday, January 15 from 6-8:30 // Buy tickets here.
Hey peeps, last week I mentioned MOCA's Annual Fundraiser. I've become more involved with the Museum lately and love all the exhibits, educational programs and their commitment to community involvement. Despite the cut in support for the Arts, MOCA continues to plow forward with new and innovative offerings.

If you don't care about any of that, did I mention it's a huge party with free food, music, tons of people and the Cover Model Search? Hello?

3rd Saturday @ 3 Layers "Dulcet Perks" w/Catharsis
Been meaning to check out the new coffee shop, Three Layers, in Springfield. They have this dessert called "Jeff Squares" that I hear are amazing. (Talk about pinpoint marketing!) If you're out that way swing by and get a piece of me.

Thanks to everyone who came to Chops last Saturday
I laughed, I cried, I cheered. It was a wonderful movie followed by a performance from four members of the original Douglas Anderson band.

Sorry I haven't been posting pics lately, I'm getting back into the swing of things.
