You can take the pig out the farm, but...

We've all known one or two that fit the description. Heck you may even be a bit of one yourself.

As it turns out, there is now help for those among us in the Advertising and Design profession. PA, or Pigs Anonymous is a group dedicated to helping the worst among us overcome our instinctual male tendencies. See the Web site.

Today HDTV is born.

In my former life, I worked as an art director for Jacksonville's largest ad agency. Although I primarily focused on print and web, I was exposed to broadcast productions on a regular basis. Well, almost 5 years later, Harrington Design Company has made a foray into the broadcast world. Today HDTV (Harrington Design TeleVision) aired two 30 second spots for Engle Homes along with a companion Web site, EngleJax.com.

Props and shout-outs to our friends at Spark who helped write and produce with these little gems.

In case you were wondering, that's a real deer's head. His name is(was) Fluffy.

The 26 have spoken.

I've been outed. Apparently I'm one of the 26% of Jacksonville who thinks the FTU is no longer relevant. I've nothing against their Web site, except that their design and information architecture are abhorrent, and that you cannot pull an RSS feed from it.

I do find it ironic that the agency who developed the campaign relied primarily on tv, radio and outdoor to get the message out. I never did see the newspaper ad with big reveal, until I saw this blog posting. ;-)
